Is Encase Forensic software still free?
I have been browsing for a while now, just trying to figure out if the
software "Encase" (FTK Alternative) is still free, like it was when I was
in college. When I visit there site now, I just see links to reviews,
manuals, feature lists, or a link to "Buy" there software, but I always
remember it being free.

But The only thing I see that is free is the "Encase Forensic Imager"
which is just the imager for whatever drive your scanning and not the
actual software itself.
Is Encase no longer free? If not, are there any alternatives which might
recover deleted files? I've tried "Recuva" but its kung-fu just isn't
strong enough :)
