Python ElementTree: Not All Data Being Written

Python ElementTree: Not All Data Being Written

I'm having some trouble with the python ElementTree where it only seems to
write (In the case of the code below) the data for the last week (last
iteration of the first for loop). It also starts to write this as a
subelement to the first 'week' element, and continues on through the
second and third. In other words, the saving of the 'artists' pretty much
disregards the hierarchy at all. There's also a bunch of empty artist
elements and other week elements. Here's the code:
